NIC Public Talk at AMA on 23rd Dec'18 - Kriya Yoga: Ancient Science for Modern Age

In recognition of Paramahansa Yoganandaji’s spiritual stature, and his far-reaching contributions to mankind, the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India has decided to celebrate his 125th Birth Anniversary in the year 2018-19 (https://indiaculture.nic.in/currents) by promoting the awareness of meditation. 

As part of these celebrations, public talks are being organized in various cities for the benefit of the society at-large. The talks focus on Paramahansaji’s teachings on the art of balanced living, and yoga meditation techniques for the health, peace and prosperity of individuals. 

In association with the Government, spiritual discourses by YSS are being  held at Ahmedabad, in December 2018. The schedule of this public talk is as follows:

About the Speaker -

Swami Ishwaranandaji’s profile: 

Swami Ishwarananda Giri received his MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and his MD degree in Respiratory Diseases and Tuberculosis from Vallabhbahi Patel Chest Institute, Delhi. In 1988, he joined Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) as a monk and has since served in the ashram in different capacities during the last 30 years. 

From 2002 to 2007, he had the good fortune of serving at the International Headquarters at Los Angeles during which time he had the opportunity to speak at several SRF temples in the US. Presently, he is serving at the Ranchi Ashram in India and is also a Member of the YSS Board of Directors.
